Meeting today with Barrington Pheloung (Composer), Simon (Director) and Alison (Producer) for a run through of the film with the soundtrack. The meeting went extremely well, after a few minor modifications to the score all were happy that arrangements could now begin for the recording session. Barrington will now make the changes as necessary, orchestrate and print the music ready for the musicians to record, sometime next week.

Today we were delighted to receive the foreword to our book, written by David Parfitt. David was kind enough to meet with us last year just before we went into pre-production with Ghosthunter - he was very helpful and gave us some much needed advice and encouragement. Having him write the foreword brings his involvement full circle, the book is due for publication in November.

Having now received the telecined negative of all the effects work and tiles - the various sequences were cut back into the film to produce the final EDL prior to the neg cut next week.

CFC screened all the Visual effects and opening titles for Ghosthunter today in their preview theatre. This is the first time that any part of Ghosthunter has been viewed on a projected print. The prints are still ungraded but it was lovely to see parts of the film at maximum resolution after spending so long with it in an off line format.

All being well the neg cut should commence next week.

The art work for our end credits have been fully approved, CFC have been busy scanning all the VFX shots, the opening titles have also been output and by the end of this week we should have all the elements of Ghosthunter in place and ready to edit back into the film, so as to produce our final EDL for PNC to begin the neg cut.

Pre-mix today at the Korda Theatre, Shepperton with Robin O'Donoghue. One of the best days so far in post production. Robin has been involved in the project since last year and we've always hoped that he'd be available to mix our film. It's the first real opportunity to see all the hard work from sound department come to fruition. There we're no real problems with our sound and hearing the mix come together, the dialogues, foley, atmospheres and sound effects in full surround sound was very exciting. There is still a little more work to be done to complete the pre-mix but we'll be back with Robin and his team in September to lay Barrington's score onto the film and for the final mix.
