Whilst we were away we hit a potential snag that could have affected the completion of "Ghosthunter". Due to our initial problems with our original Editors availability and the subsequent delay whilst we found a new Editor, we ran into personnel problems at Quantel. They were expecting to have completed the effects work by now so they currently have no available operators for the Domino equipment and were unable to complete the special effects for the film. As we were spending time with them in Cannes they were particularly helpful and worked extremely hard to place the film with another effects house. The result is that we will be working with CFC (The Computer Film Company) who've kindly taken on all the effects work. We're naturally delighted that a company with their experience is now on board the project and we have just completed the preliminary meetings with the VFX team that will handle "Ghosthunter". All the negative and paperwork is now at CFC and Gavin (DoP) and Simon (Director) will be grading the scanned footage at CFC in the very near future.
